Hey Blossoms,
When getting inked people don’t often think about the placement of the tattoo. Tattoos are not like they use to be, they are becoming more popular and more of an impulse, rather than designing and planning out what your tattoo is going to look like and where you are going to place it. When you really think about it, our bodies are canvases and tattoos are a strong representation of who we are. When I am deciding on my next tattoo, I take my time, since, it is there forever after all. I like to be different when choosing where I want my tattoo placed, although nowadays that is hard when people have tattoos anywhere on their bodies. One of my more recent pieces is a few dandelions or wish flowers mixed together with wildflowers, on my upper arm. It is definitely one of my favourites, done by Jarrod Roche at Dagger and Lark in Bayswater. He did an amazing job and is such a wonderful artist, I took in my ideas and then he came up with the design. The focal point of my tattoo is the wish flowers. As a little girl when I would walk to school I would always pass them on my way and pick them up, make a wish and watch my wish float away up into the sky. I love the idea that you make a wish, blow it away and then it is up to the universe to decide if it comes true or not, put those positive vibes out there, do good for the world and be kind and your wish may just come true. Obviously work hard for what you want as well, a flower can’t do everything by itself. #flowerink
